Alliance is one of the largest lamb and mutton producers in the world, exporting to 65 countries and representing over 15% of the world’s cross-border mutton trade. Alliance needed an optimised approach to manage their 7 million lambs and sheep and make smarter sales and production planning decisions quickly and easily to produce upwards of 1200 products.
Scopta worked closely with Alliance’s domain experts in New Zealand to create a streamlined, fit-for-purpose mathematical solution. Once a proven formulation had been developed, a cloud-based strategic tool was rapidly built on top of the Scopta Workbench platform. This allowed far greater control and visibility across Alliance’s meat sales and production planning activities.
